Interesting Paper with Implications for Ancient DNA Studies

This new publication Using Y-chromosome capture enrichment to resolve haplogroup H2 shows new evidence for a two-path Neolithic expansion to Western Europe highlighting their very funny named ‘YMCA’ approach sounds likes the right direction to go.

It is such a shame for ancient DNA studies squandering priceless DNA samples using assays that miss so much.

That is a very interesting paper. Thanks for posting the link!

Let's hope Dr. Lara Cassidy at TCD is following this work AND that the TCD lab can duplicate the method.
