This new publication Using Y-chromosome capture enrichment to resolve haplogroup H2 shows new evidence for a two-path Neolithic expansion to Western Europe highlighting their very funny named ‘YMCA’ approach sounds likes the right direction to go.
It is such a shame for ancient DNA studies squandering priceless DNA samples using assays that miss so much.
